Worship on Sundays as a family! Wiggle bags, which offer activities for your kiddos during the service, are available to pick up at the back of the worship space. Kids are also invited to participate in children’s time during the service. This is a time designed specifically for kids to engage in worship. Following children's time, the kids are invited to join team members for a Bible lesson and activities.
The Global Methodist Church's General Conference will be held in Johannesburg, South Africa, August 30 through September 5. This week, we invite you to be in prayer for the West Plains Conference's clergy delegates: Ryan Smallwood, Jeremy Barbee, Lyndol Loyd (who is also up for election as a bishop), Darren Skinner, Kelly McCuaig, Dustin McEwen (alternate), and Lupe Acevedo (alternate).
Join other FMC women in Frisco October 23-25 to hear speakers like Lysa TerKeurst, Priscilla Shirer, and Tara-Leigh Cobble, enjoy some comedy with JJ Barrows, and worship with Big Daddy Weave. Participants are responsible for their own ticket ($139, less than 100 remaining, available online at womenofjoy.org), meals, and transportation (carpooling encouraged). First Methodist will provide lodging for the first 10 women to sign up.

On August 16, we will pray over school administrators, teachers, staff, and students beginning a new school year. Students are welcome to bring their backpacks to be prayed over as well!
After serving the youth ministries at both of our campuses, as the Amarillo campus' Ministry Coordinator, and directing some of Camp Nova's most well-attended camps, Kayla Irlbeck has made the prayerful decision to step down from the church staff. A celebration (including a light lunch) will be held in her honor immediately following worship.
