Worship Times:
Traditional Worship 8:30 & 10:50 a.m. (Sanctuary)
Modern Worship 10:50 a.m. (Fellowship Hall)
The Canyon campus will gather for one worship service on Sunday, December 29, 2024, at 10:50 a.m. in its sanctuary. Childcare for kids from birth through preschool will be available. Children's and youth Sunday school classes will not meet. If you are part of an adult class, please check with your class leader regarding whether your class will meet on this day.
Our ministries are not possible without those who give their time and energy to various areas of our church. If you're looking for a place to serve, we have several opportunities available:
If there's another area in which you might be able offer your time and talent, we'd love to sit down with you and discuss what might be the best fit for you!
From the moment you first walk in the door to when you find your seat in our sanctuary or Fellowship Hall, our goal is to help you feel welcome and known. If at any time you need assistance, please ask one of our Guest Connections Team members (they will be wearing red nametags) or welcome table host. We hope First Methodist Church is a place you can connect with God and His people.
We have two traditional services in our sanctuary: one at 8:30 a.m., and one at 10:50 a.m. You're also welcome to join us for a modern worship experience at 10:50 in Fellowship Hall. Our preaching team ensures the teaching of God's Word is impactful and applicable at all our services.
On the first Sunday of every month, we receive communion together. We follow the church calendar (Ash Wednesday, Lent, Advent, etc.) to lead us through the changing rhythms of our Christian life. You will find that prayer is the heartbeat of our services and ministries. First Methodist offers many different methods and opportunities to participate in prayer throughout the week. We hope that, by being a part of First Methodist Church, you will be inspired to glorify God in worship; grow deep through connection to Jesus, God's Word, and people; and go serve your neighbor, community, and world.
