Camp Nova (Latin for "new") is a summer camp where students are invited to come and be made new through Jesus Christ!

We are so excited about all that God wants to do this year through Camp Nova! As you’ve probably heard, preparations are underway for Camp Nova 712, but we are also excited to launch Camp Nova 456 for students in fourth through sixth grades! Camp Nova 456 will be directed by our very own Jaymie Venhaus and Merri Padilla, Children’s Minister at Polk Street Methodist Church.
Because Camp Nova is now self-funded, we are responsible for raising funds to support both camps, and it has been so amazing to already see God’s faithfulness and provision! One of our primary fundraising efforts for these two camps will be our 100@100 Donation Drive.
100@100 is a fundraising initiative in which we invite individuals or groups to donate $100 to Camp Nova. This money goes directly to our programming expenses including speakers, worship teams, supplies, and more. So, if you, your GrowGroup, family, or business would like to participate, there are a few ways to give:
If you have any questions about Camp Nova, the 100@100 fundraiser, or anything else camp-related, please contact Kayla Irlbeck. The 100@100 fundraiser will continue through the month of February. We hope you will consider being one of our 100!
At Nova 2024, we had the pleasure of serving over 340 students, and that is no small task! Camp Nova cannot happen without individuals and families who give of their time and energy to help make Camp Nova a success.
As we look toward our next camp, we are looking to grow our pool of volunteers. Specifically, we are in need of individuals who would be able to help us load and pack before camp, and then assist with unloading once Camp Nova ends. Our team also makes use of golf carts and utility vehicles during camp. If you have a vehicle that you would allow us to use during camp, please let us know!
If you feel led to serve Camp Nova in any capacity, or if you have any questions, please email Camp Nova director, Kayla Irlbeck.
