Welcome to First Methodist Church! We are so glad you are here. Whatever your week has been like, whatever your life has been like, whatever you look like, and whether you believe what we believe or disagree with us, you are welcome in this place in the name of Jesus Christ.
Prayer requests can be texted to us at (806) 304-6649, or emailed to prayer@firstmethodist.church.
If this is your first time here, we have a gift for you! Visit the welcome table by the entrance, and a member of our Guest Connections Team will happily assist you.
Our nursery is available for infants to pre-k students. We believe in family worship, so your kids are welcome to stay in the worship service with you. We have a time for children during worship where kids are invited to come forward to hear from our children’s ministry team. If your children are joining you in worship, we offer “wiggle bags” filled with activities for your children to do during worship. Wiggle bags may be found at the back of the worship space by the entrance.
Due to a full schedule this morning, we will partake in Communion next Sunday, April 12. On that day, we'll also take up a Communion rail offering benefitting In His Hands scholarships. IHH's scholarship fund allows our church to serve families experiencing financial hardship by covering part of their child's preschool tuition.
Christ is risen — now what? Next Sunday, we invite you back to First Methodist as we examine our lives through the lens of Jesus' resurrection.
Your and your family are invited to come enjoy dinner together this Wednesday from 5:30 to 6:15 in our Fellowship Hall. Following the dinner, we have spiritual growth opportunities available for all ages!
Make this Mother's Day a special one! Your family is invited to join us on Sunday, May 10, for a day of honoring and celebrating the mothers, stepmothers, grandmothers, aunts, and spiritual mothers in our lives.
This summer, kids will be able to take part in some frosty activities and games, enjoy snowy snacks and stories, and learn what Scripture says about faith and resilience. Registration will open in May. Please keep an eye on our social media channels for more information. Vacation Bible Camp will be June 1 through 4 from 6:00 to 8:00 each evening.
