Welcome to First Methodist Church! We are so glad you are here. Whatever your week has been like, whatever your life has been like, whatever you look like, and whether you believe what we believe or disagree with us, you are welcome in this place in the name of Jesus Christ.
Prayer requests can be texted to us at (806) 304-6649, or emailed to prayer@firstmethodist.church.
If this is your first time here, we have a gift for you! Visit the welcome table by the entrance, and a member of our Guest Connections Team will happily assist you.
Our nursery is available for infants to pre-k students. We believe in family worship, so your kids are welcome to stay in the worship service with you. We have a time for children during worship where kids are invited to come forward to hear from our children’s ministry team. If your children are joining you in worship, we offer “wiggle bags” filled with activities for your children to do during worship. Wiggle bags may be found at the back of the worship space by the entrance.
The Methodist Women in Service are selling Easter lilies through Sunday, March 29. The flowers are $15 apiece and may be purchased in honor or memory of a loved one and will be used to decorate the sanctuary on Easter Sunday (April 5). Ordering envelopes are available in the pew-back pockets, at the welcome areas, and in the church office.
Due to Spring Break, please note that there will not be a fellowship meal this Wednesday, and that our adult GrowGroups, children's, and youth ministries will not meet.
You're invited to an evening of reflection and worship on Friday, April 3, at 6:30 in our sanctuary as we remember and ponder Jesus' suffering and death on the cross.
Need some baked goods for Easter? The Methodist Women in Service will be hosting a bake sale next Sunday, March 22, outside the sanctuary and Fellowship Hall. All proceeds will go to support local, national, and international mission work.
Throughout the Lenten season, Pastor Hayden will be hosting a weekly Communion service in our Canyon campus’ sanctuary each Saturday from 11:00 to 11:15. Come remember Christ’s sacrifice, His death on the cross, and experience His love for you.
On Palm Sunday, we celebrate and remember Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem on the back of a colt. We have a surprise planned for this day that your children will remember for years to come!
You're invited to an evening of reflection and worship on Friday, April 3, at 6:30 in our sanctuary as we remember and ponder Jesus' suffering and death on the cross. We will be joined by an artist who will create an interactive painting during the service. Childcare provided.
