Welcome to First Methodist Church! We are so glad you are here. Whatever your week has been like, whatever your life has been like, whatever you look like, and whether you believe what we believe or disagree with us, you are welcome in this place in the name of Jesus Christ.
Prayer requests can be texted to us at (806) 304-6649, or emailed to prayer@firstmethodist.church.
If this is your first time here, we have a gift for you! Visit the welcome table by the entrance, and a member of our Guest Connections Team will happily assist you.
Wondering what to do next? We’d love to get to know you more, give you a tour of the building, and answer any questions you have. Join us for our First Steps gathering in the library (down the hall and across from the sanctuary) any Sunday morning at 9:40.
Our nursery is available for infants to pre-k students. We believe in family worship, so your kids are welcome to stay in the worship service with you. We have a time for children during worship where kids are invited to come forward to hear from our children’s ministry team. If your children are joining you in worship, we offer “wiggle bags” filled with activities for your children to do during worship. Wiggle bags may be found at the back of the worship space by the entrance.

Help save lives in the community by giving blood! To sign up for a time slot, please visit www.firstmethodist.church/events.
Our Canyon and Amarillo campuses will be coming together for Good Friday to reflect on Jesus’ suffering and death on the cross. Please make plans to join us for this worship service as we draw closer to the empty tomb and the resurrection of Christ.
The Amarillo campus’ annual Easter Egg Hunt is coming up on April 19. If you’d like to help with this wonderful outreach event, our campus is collecting filled Easter eggs. Filled eggs may be left in the baskets set up by the sanctuary and outside Fellowship Hall. Your support is greatly appreciated!
Want a fun way to invite someone to our Easter worship services? Be sure to pick up a plastic egg and yard sign from the welcome area to “egg” someone in the community! Instructions are provided with the supplies.
