Welcome to First Methodist Church! We are so glad you are here. Whatever your week has been like, whatever your life has been like, whatever you look like, and whether you believe what we believe or disagree with us, you are welcome in this place in the name of Jesus Christ.
Prayer requests can be texted to us at (806) 304-6649, or emailed to prayer@firstmethodist.church.
If this is your first time here, we have a gift for you! Visit the welcome table by the entrance, and a member of our Guest Connections Team will happily assist you.
Wondering what to do next? We’d love to get to know you more, give you a tour of the building, and answer any questions you have. Join us for our First Steps gathering in the library (down the hall and across from the sanctuary) any Sunday morning at 9:40.
Our nursery is available for infants to pre-k students. We believe in family worship, so your kids are welcome to stay in the worship service with you. We have a time for children during worship where kids are invited to come forward to hear from our children’s ministry team. If your children are joining you in worship, we offer “wiggle bags” filled with activities for your children to do during worship. Wiggle bags may be found at the back of the worship space by the entrance.
Join the Methodist Women in Service this afternoon to learn how they support local, national, and international mission work.
Come meet our new Lead Pastor, Matt Wolfington, and his wife, Robin, on Sunday, January 26, at the church’s parsonage! Light refreshments provided.
The next gathering of our 55+ ministry is coming up later this month! Bring a friend and come enjoy brunch, games, and fellowship.
To purchase flowers in memory or honor of a loved one, for a special occasion, or to honor a group (veterans, a Sunday school class, etc.), please email Laurie Gilliland.
