Welcome to First Methodist Church! We are so glad you are here. Whatever your week has been like, whatever your life has been like, whatever you look like, and whether you believe what we believe or disagree with us, you are welcome in this place in the name of Jesus Christ.
Have a prayer request? Please text prayer requests to us at (806) 304-5905, or email prayer@firstmethodist.church.
If this is your first time here, we have a gift for you! Visit the welcome table in the foyer, and a member of our Guest Connections Team (they’ll be wearing a white name tag) will happily assist you.
Our nursery is available for infants to pre-k students. We believe in family worship, so your kids are welcome to stay in the worship service with you. We have a time for children during worship where kids are invited to come forward to hear from our children’s ministry team. If your children are joining you in worship, we offer “wiggle bags” filled with activities for your children to do during worship. Wiggle bags may be found in the back of the sanctuary.
Our Street Party is a great time to come together to support Canyon Intermediate School, enjoy live music, and, of course, try some great food! If you or a group you’re involved in would like to host a booth, now is the time to think about what tasty treat you’d like to serve. More information to come.
Next week, Ty and Tori Crenshaw will be presenting on their mission work in India and what God is doing overseas. Our Communion rail offering will go toward their ministry.
Help save lives in our community by donating blood next weekend! Donors will receive a free glow-in-the-dark Wicked t-shirt and bundtlet from Nothing Bundt Cakes. To reserve your spot, please click here.
Join us for Camp Nova’s next golf scramble! This tournament will raise funds for Camp Nova 712 and 456. There is a cost of $240 per three-person team. Lunch will be provided. To learn more and sign up, please visit www.firstmethodist.church/campnova.
All are invited to join the Methodist Women in Service for a time of fellowship and learning! Rachel Bridges will be sharing about the ministry of Operation Christmas Child and its impact for the Kingdom in Ecuador.
