If this is your first time here, we have a gift for you! Visit the welcome table in the foyer, and a member of our Guest Connections Team (they’ll be wearing a white name tag) will happily assist you.
Our nursery is available for infants to pre-k students. We believe in family worship, so your kids are welcome to stay in the worship service with you. We have a time for children during worship where kids are invited to come forward to hear from our children’s ministry team. If your children are joining you in worship, we offer “wiggle bags” filled with activities for your children to do during worship. Wiggle bags may be found in the back of the sanctuary.
Kids from kindergarten through sixth grade are invited to join us on the second floor this Wednesday, October 21, to decorate pumpkins, make candy apples, and more!
The Methodist Women in Service are now accepting orders for their annual frozen dressing and Thanksgiving take-out meal sale. To place an order, please use an ordering envelope located in the pew-back pocket. Orders are due Monday, October 26.
The Leadership Board meets on the fourth Monday of each month. Members of First Methodist are invited to attend these meetings to hear updates from around the church and learn more about the church's finances.
If you know of someone in our congregation who has served in the Armed Forces, we want to recognize them during worship on Sunday, November 8. Please email laurie@firstmethodist.church with their name.
Ignite (formerly the Wesley at WT) will be hosting a chili cook-off and dessert auction on Sunday, November 8, at noon in Fellowship Hall. Come hungry, and don't forget your wallets for the dessert auction! To sign up to bring a dessert or chili, please visit one of the Chili Cook-Off tables by the welcome areas.
Women of all ages are invited to a morning of food and fellowship. Don't forget to invite a friend, daughter, sister, or someone else in your life for this event!
