Welcome to First Methodist Church! We are so glad you are here. Whatever your week has been like, whatever your life has been like, whatever you look like, and whether you believe what we believe or disagree with us, you are welcome in this place in the name of Jesus Christ.
Have a prayer request? Please text prayer requests to us at (806) 304-5905, or email prayer@firstmethodist.church.
If this is your first time here, we have a gift for you! Visit the welcome table in the foyer, and a member of our Guest Connections Team (they’ll be wearing a white name tag) will happily assist you.
Our nursery is available for infants to pre-k students. We believe in family worship, so your kids are welcome to stay in the worship service with you. We have a time for children during worship where kids are invited to come forward to hear from our children’s ministry team. If your children are joining you in worship, we offer “wiggle bags” filled with activities for your children to do during worship. Wiggle bags may be found in the back of the sanctuary.
Please join us as we take down Advent decorations around the building. Your help is greatly appreciated!
Join us in Fellowship Hall for a fellowship meal from 5:30 to 6:15 p.m., followed by ministries for all ages from 6:15 to 7:30! Children will be able to partake in age-appropriate games and biblical lessons, and youth will gather in the basement for worship and in-depth discussion. Adults, check out one this semester's classes below:

Connect with God's Word over the course of 2026! Our Old Testament plan (already in progress) will allow you to read the entire Old Testament by reading three chapters per day with no readings on Sundays. If you'd like something lighter, our New Testament plan begins tomorrow, January 12, and requires reading just one chapter of the New Testament every day except on Sundays.
If you would like to provide altar flowers in honor or memory of a loved one, we still have a few Sundays available. Please call the church office at (806) 655-2851 for more information.
Church office closed: Monday, January 19
Ash Wednesday: February 18
Daddy-Daughter Dance: Saturday, March 7, 6:30 p.m.
