Are You a First-Time Guest?

If this is your first time here, we have a gift for you! Visit the welcome table in the foyer, and a member of our Guest Connections Team (they’ll be wearing a white name tag) will happily assist you.

First Steps

Wondering what to do next? We’d love to get to know you more, give you a tour of the building, and answer any questions you have. Join us for our First Steps gathering in the library (across from the sanctuary) any Sunday morning at 9:40.

Nursery and Childcare

Our nursery is available for infants to pre-k students on Sunday mornings during Sunday school and worship. We believe in family worship, so your kids are welcome to stay in the worship service with you. We have a time for children during worship where kids are invited to come forward to hear from our children’s ministry team. If your children are joining you in worship, we offer “wiggle bags” filled with activities for your children to do during worship. Wiggle bags may be found in the back of the sanctuary.

What's New at First Methodist

Next Sunday: Celebrating Charlotte Wilson’s Ministry

After over a decade of ministry to our church, Charlotte Wilson is stepping down as our Kitchen Coordinator at the end of the year. Next Sunday, November 24, we will recognize Charlotte in each of our services, and there will be cards available in the parlor for anyone who would like to leave Charlotte a note to thank her for all that she’s done.

Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes Due Today

Filled Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes must be returned to the display areas today in order to be sent off to one of the 100+ countries served by Samaritan’s Purse. Thank you for helping us share the love of Jesus with children all over the world!

Angel Tree Opens Today

Through our Angel Tree ministry, our church is able to provide families in our area with Christmas gifts. If you would like to buy gifts for a child in need, please locate the Angel Tree display in the narthex or by Fellowship Hall. Gifts must be dropped off in Fellowship Hall on or before Sunday, December 8.

Next Sunday: Hanging of the Greens: 5:30-7:30 p.m., Sanctuary

Join us in the sanctuary for a brief time of worship before we decorate the church for Advent! Once we have finished decorating, a light meal will be served in Fellowship Hall. All are welcome!
